Vitafloor

Vitafloor is a fully automated vibrating floor system that is easy to use and above all, safe for the horses to use. The significant role of this vibrating stall is to offer both physical training and massage to the animal thereby stimulating blood circulation and muscle activation. In fact, Vitafloor® is the first ever whole body vibration platform that was created exclusively for horses. Besides, it is a one-of-its-kind system that provides a unique tilt mechanism to provide increased efficiency.



How Vitafloor benefits horses A vibrating horse experiences a remarkable improvement in blood circulation throughout the entire body, the top-line and organs, not just the legs. The Vitafloor can be employed for training, rehabilitation, maintenance and injury prevention. The system helps in quicker recovery of the animal from various soft tissue, bone and hoof problems. It also helps prevent colic and is therefore very useful to treat horses that are on box rest.

Vitafloor works wonders in case of suspensory injuries and has shown some promising results with laminitis and navicular disease. Research has shown evidence that Vitafloor increases bone density, enhances muscle musculature and improves hoof quality. It is also known to help with joint and muscle soreness; as a result, the horse becomes suppler, looser, stronger and more flexible. Above all, Vitafloor is an all rounder that is safe, non-invasive and easy to integrate into the daily training routine of a horse.

Vibration therapy for horses has become largely accepted and has gained tremendous popularity over the years. We have sold hundreds of units worldwide ranging from stand-alone vibrating plates to built-in vibrating stall units. Our customers include top training barns, equestrians, veterinary and rehab facilities. In- and outdoor arena

The outdoor arena measures 100 x 45m and offers a lot space for training.
Riding is possible in all weather conditions in the large covered indoor arena that measures 30 x 100m. The arena can be split easily into three differently sized areas.

Horse Walker The Enterprise

Manege Beukers has the unique horse walker The Enterprise on-site. The unique attribute of this horse walker is that the horses and pony’s are kept in optimal condition due to its construction shape. Given the experience of building more than 200 horse walkers, the question "Is it possible to construct a horse walker in which the horses can not only walk in a circle, but also in a straight line?" has finally been answered. The horses are no longer restricted to walk continually in a curved line but can walk straight ahead.
This is also now possible without causing an excessive footprint. As the mechanics are wholly located above the walking track, there is an empty inside area that can be reused, for example, for lunging, or for storage of hay and other material. The advantages of The Enterprise for your horse or pony are:

Better and more even distribution of weight on all four legs of the horse or pony
Room for 6 or 7 horses
A central area that can be usefully reused

From the stables you are able to ride into the forest of the Geestmerambacht recreactional area. The forest and dunes at Schoorl are located close by and offer great riding possibilities. Once you are in the dunes, the beach is also easily accessible.

Lunging area and paddocks

The paddocks and lunging areas are 15m x 15m. We have in total 7 ha of meadow available for the horses and pony’s. Our riding school and livery horses and pony’s are outside every day from April through September.
During the week we set your horse or pony outside, you only have to bring your horse or pony inside each afternoon or evening. In the weekend you can make your own arrangements. The horses stand toegther in ring fenced small groups. Of course water is available on the meadow for your horse or pony.

Cantine

The cantine has a number of fine attributes. In the middle there is a cozy bar, a large old-fashioned grand table and lots of places to sit and enjoy a chat with friends.

Access to all areas of the cantine is possible for people in wheelchairs, including the raised floor section looking onto the indoor arena. The cantine is the ideal place to enjoy a drink and a snack and to talk about the progress of your child, yourself of anyone else. There are large windows on both sides of the cantine that allow a great view of both the indoor arena and the outdoor arena.
